The Global Young Faculty is an initiative of Stiftung Mercator in cooperation with the University Alliance Ruhr and is coordinated by the Mercator Research Centre Ruhr in Essen. I was selected as one of 50 post doctoral researchers. My interdiciplinary working group is Applied Science Communication. The aim of this project is to identify evidence-based, target group-related strategies for successful and, above all, efficient science communication. This should enable communicating scientists to make informed decisions about specific communication strategies and media in the future.
